When two southern Southern California surfers set out to create a truly environmentally friendly surfboard, they had no idea it would lead them to fungus. But several years and many prototypes later, they were riding waves on a mushroom board they grew themselves. Watch to see how this one-of-a-kind board made it all the way from their homegrown workshop to the Surfing Heritage Center in San Clemente, where it now rests alongside other iconic and legendary boards.
